In this dandy flick—one of the earliest cyberthrillers—Matthew Broderick nukes Las Vegas and sets off World War III. Well, kind of. His character hacks into the Air Force's war simulation computer and (thinking he's playing the ultimate video game) initiates a nuclear launch sequence. By the time he realizes what he's done, the clock is already ticking and he must scramble to stop it.
